Zakho International School Holds SLO^® Recruitment Day for Students

Students in grades 3 and 5 at Zakho International School, a SABIS^® PPP school, participated in Student Life Recruitment Day, a SABIS Student Life Organization^® (SLO^®) event, on Monday, September 14, 2015.

As part of Student Life Recruitment Day, the SLO^® had various positions available in several departments, including academics, discipline, management, sports, and social responsibility.

Throughout the first week of the new academic year, vacancies within these departments were advertised around the school. Interested students applied and interviewed for the role of their choice, and were asked to provide a brief description of why they were interested in that particular position.  

The prefects enjoyed being a part of this event, as they were given a lot of responsibility, such as taking on the recruiting process for the available positions in the SLO^®. All students are encouraged to join the SLO^®, as doing so helps them contribute to the school in a positive way.
